PE300 Flange — Custom Wrap Clamp Covers the Flange and the Reducer

This leak was not a plain flange: the PE300 flange bolted straight onto a reducing connection, so the failed area spanned both the bolt line and the taper behind it. A catalogue flange clamp sized for the flange alone would have left the second leak path exposed.

One part replaced what would otherwise have been a cut-out, a new flange and a new reducer. Both leak paths are now under the same steel shell, and the joint has been backfilled and put back into service.
